This Photo-electric Optical Smoke Alarm uses the light scatter principle to respond rapidly to a domestic fire.
It has an aesthetically pleasing design comprising a high performance optical chamber with integral fixed insect screen to avoid false alarms. It also has a prominent Test/Hush button. It is easy to install with an easy to fit twist-on base.
The alam is wired with a non replaceable 10 year lithium battery with a tamper proof design to limit the possibility of disabling the alarm. It can also support RadioLINK functionality if an optional RF module is installed. It can be interconnected with up to 12 other battery powered alarms so that all alarms can be activated should one of them be triggered.
